Nash Foundation was established after I, Natu Suzie Kure, experienced the heartbreaking loss of seven family members to cancer. In 2019, I discovered that two of my aunts were diagnosed with stage 4 breast cancer—both of which could have been caught earlier with proper screening. My advocacy for early detection stems from the belief that it could have saved many lives, including those of my relatives. I often think that my aunt might still be here today if she had followed medical advice, if fear and stigma surrounding the disease hadn’t held her back, and if there had been more awareness and education about her condition. Through this foundation, I am committed to ensuring that no woman has to face the same fate.
Our mission is to transform every cancer WARRIOR into a long time SURVIVOR in Nigeria and beyond.
